Receipt, storage, handling and testing of materials, consumables in Microbiology Laboratory.

Calibration of instruments and equipment’s in Microbiology Laboratory.

Disinfectant preparation and filtration and general cleaning and sanitization of microbiology laboratory.

Plate enumeration and updation of respective LTR’s and LIMS worksheets.

Perform Microbiological method validations/ miscellaneous studies.

Perform analysis of water, product, in-process samples, swab samples, cleaning validation samples, mediafill related samples, raw materials.

Preparation, pre-incubation and reconciliation of microbiological media.

Perform Growth promotion test, preparation of culture suspension and isolate identification and maintenance of microbial cultures.

Perform Preservative Efficacy Test for products and stability samples.

Perform environmental monitoring in laboratory.

Cleaning, operation of autoclave/steam sterilizer.

Handling and disposal of microbiological waste.

Monitoring of Incubators, cooling cabinet, refrigerators.

Preparation of trends and summary reports.

Perform and participate in gowning qualifications.

Perform water sampling.

Handling of QMS elements.

Perform the LIMS masters creation.

To ensure the good laboratory practices (GLP), Good documentation practices (GDP) and Housekeeping in the laboratory.

To support the regulatory, corporate and customer audits.

Apart from the above job responsibilities, employee shall perform the activities as directed by department HOD/ designee.
